Na tena hoti dhammaṭṭho yen'atthaṃ sahasā naye; yo ca atthaṃ anatthañ ca ubho niccheyya paṇḍito.
English Translation
One is not "just" merely by deciding a matter hastily. The wise person is one who carefully weighs both what is right and what is not.

Opens the Dhammaṭṭha Vagga (The Just) — traditionally read as addressed to those who judge disputes (village elders, officials), but stated generally enough to apply to anyone making a judgment.
